Shannon & JD Koch

I am so excited to share this blog with everyone. I met Shannon early in 2011 at her trial run. I did a trial run for her and her sister Laurel! They were so much fun to work with!!! Shannon explained to me that she did not wear a lot of make-up and wanted to look amazing without being over done. This is a request that I get from a lot of brides, so I knew exactly what to do~ We chose airbrush make-up, soft pinks and neutral tones to accent Shannon's already stunning features! Her bridal party went with a variety of different looks from smokey eyes and false lashes to classic romantic looks! Shannon also contacted our very talented Massage Therapist to do chair massage for her party, which was a HUGE hit!!! I had an amazing time working with Shannon. The thing that I remember most is how beautiful she looked and what an amazing mother she is, you can tell in the pictures that she is really a special person and I am so glad that I know Shannon!! All the best to you Shannon & JD!!!!

Jamie & Jon 9-10-11 Wedding

I am so excited to write this blog about an amazing couple that I had the pleasure of working with several times in 2011. Jamie first contacted me early in January 2011 for her trial run. She was a very enthusiastic and passionate bride! We had an amazing time at her trial run and I was delighted to get an email from her a few months later in April 2011 to work with her again, doing her make-up for her engagement pictures!!! We discussed more about her look and this time Jamie decided to try false lashes, which we both agreed looked FABULOUS on her! I also had the opportunity to meet and work with Jamie's amazing photographer that day as well MichaelWill. On the big day, our team drove to her parents Lake House for one of the most beautiful weddings. Although it rained in the morning, Jamie and her all star bridal team and team of vendors really made the day amazing. We did the make-up for her party of 10 and our massage therapist, Aimee, provided on site chair massage for her bridal party to make it a true SPA morning! A soft, glowing natural look enhanced by False Lashes were a MUST for Jamie's big day!

Amanda's Maternity Shoot

As a professional make-up artist, I work on a variety of different projects. Most popular are weddings and engagement photos, followed by portfolio work and commercial shoots. Recently, there has been an increased demand for MATERNITY PHOTO's :) I had the pleasure of working with Joe and Amanda on their maternity photo shoot with Ally from Studio Bash. Amanda decided on a soft look enhanced with false lashes for her shoot. Congratulations to Amanda and Joe on their new addition, Baby Olivia.

Conrgats, Mrs. Rachel Grandovic May 14, 2011

2011 has definitly been a busy bridal year! (This Blog posting is long overdue)The first time I met with the lovely Rachel was on April 17th in Cranberry for her trial run. We had a really fun time experimenting with new colors and False Lashes!!! Rachel’s mom and best friend were on hand for advice and they were all so excited about the AIRBRUSH MAKE-UP! I was excited because Rachel looked AMAZING and she was so much fun to work with!!! On her very special day, May 14, 2011, I met Rachel and her enitre bridal party in downtown Pittsburgh at her Aunt’s apartment. The lovely ladies featured in the pictures are Rachel’s mom Charlene, sister Becca and bridesmaids, Leslie and Alicia. Rachel’s hair was beautiful and her make-up was flawless! She choose airbrush make-up, classic bridal colors with sleek black lines, and false lashes! She was the perfect bride!!!
